1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest in the Baby Jogger range. It's designed to travel and easily fits through the majority of normal doors thanks to its slim design. It's also one of the most lightweight double buggies that are available, weighing only 14lbs when folded. This makes it ideal for flying with a toddler and newborn as you won't be exceeding the luggage allowances of airlines. It can also be folded into the size of an incredibly small travel bag making it easy to store in the back of your car.
It's simple to fold the Z-shape with one hand. Once you get used to it, it's compact and only takes just a few seconds. However our tester found the auto lock to be a little confusing. As the handlebar isn't locked into position when you press it, it landed on her legs when she was using it. She also felt that the handlebar was a bit too short particularly with a large changing bag hanging off of it.
This double stroller isn't as lightweight as other travel buggies. It comes with a wide variety of features, and is one the most versatile double strollers on the market. It can be used with two carrycots (available separately), features multiple recline positions, and comes with an UV 50+ canopy. You can also add the bassinet to one or both seats to create an ideal travel system.
The four wheels made of rubber are ideal for pavements and urban terrain, but they're not built for off-roading. They slid on long grass and gravel, and there isn't much space between the bracket and the wheel, which means that mud could get stuck easily. Our tester loved this vehicle, and it was able to climb some beautiful dirt hills.

It's a heavier tandem buggy, but it's incredibly easy to operate and steer, especially on smooth roads. It is stable in double and single mode, and also on sloping ground. It is not as easy to use on public transport as it requires two hands to hold the handlebar. It's also a bit heavy and will not fit in a standard family car boot with the seat on, but this is a problem that can be overcome with some cautious planning. iCandy has included an infant footmuff and a changing bag included in the price, so this is an excellent value package for new parents.

Our testers noted that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even taking on uneven ground or when turning swiftly in a busy street. They were also impressed by the fact that both seats recline independently, meaning they can be adjusted to suit the individual's needs. This is ideal for napping.
The hoods were also easy to adjust for sun or wind protection. They didn't offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It might be worth carrying an extra rain cover in case.
Overall, our testers were impressed by the Nipper double's ability to let them take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From exploring the forest for wildlife to rushing to the park for a playdate, they loved it. Our testers were also amazed by how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There's plenty of room to stretch out for growing toddlers. Our test participants did not agree that the lack of parent-facing seating and the inability of using car seats in the buggy was a disadvantage, and they would have liked to have seen more storage space to store shopping items and other accessories.
